The Shadow King's Alpha : The Cursed Bond

by supriya_shukla

For three thousand years, his name had been erased from history, yet every wolf still feared the darkness. They called him the Shadow King. The Deity of Darkness. When Emperor Tharzek slaughtered every Ashkarth Clan child and shattered the unborn eggs of an entire divine bloodline, the heavens awaited the judgment of the lunar moon. But Shadow King did not. “The spirits will stand with my judgment. Bring me the head of Emperor Tharzek...” His gaze settled upon a lone warrior, an Alpha of the Red Wolf Clan, the heir of House Vaelric. “...and I shall take you as my sacrifice.” Without a moment's hesitation, Kael stepped forward. “If my life is the price for ending this hatred...then I offer it willingly.” He believed he was walking toward his execution. Instead...he was claimed. Dragged into the endless darkness by the most feared deity in existence, Kael soon discovers that death was never his punishment. It was only the beginning. Bound beneath the lunar moon by an ancient covenant older than kingdoms themselves, Kael finds himself beside a cursed god whose every heartbeat is an agony no deity nor wolf could endure... and whose wrath alone is enough to plunge the entire wolf world into ruin. As rival clans sharpen their fangs, forgotten prophecies awaken, and the shadows whisper of an age that should have remained buried...one truth becomes terrifyingly clear. “From this moment on, your life belongs to me. Every breath you take...every drop of blood that flows through your veins...every pain you endure...shall be by my will.” His eyes burned into Kael's soul. “If you wished to bear the consequences, then bear them. You shall carry the suffering of the Ashkarth clan until I decide your judgment.” To the Shadow King, Kael is the sinner whose fate has yet to be decided. Can Kael survive the wrath of the deity who claimed him... or will the darkness reveal that even the cruelest gods carry wounds deeper than eternity?
