Real Young Master Came Home so What About me

by Yi Jie Ou

Previously or alternatively listed as The Real Young Master Came Home, So What About Me?

Taimi had done plenty of things that made him difficult to love. He bullied his eldest brother and drove away his girlfriend. He tormented his other brother, burned his freshly dyed green hair with a lighter, and forced him to watch horror movies. He talked back to teachers and picked on his classmates. And yet, everyone adored him. At least, that was what he had always believed. Until the day his parents brought home a boy his age, accompanied by a shabby, nervous-looking middle-aged couple. “Taimi, this is your brother. Say hello.” “Taimi, these are your biological parents. Call them Mom and Dad.” Amid the family's cheerful celebrations and Taimi's desperate protests, he was sent away to a rundown house infested with mold and rats. This, apparently, was the life that truly belonged to him. Gone were the South Sea pearls and North American diamonds. In their place were cold, crumbling rooms and endless reheated leftovers. Unable to accept his new circumstances, Taimi sneaked back to the home where he had grown up. His former family was celebrating their newly returned son's birthday. No one paid him any attention. Only the housekeeper offered him a slice of cake and wished him well. As Taimi tried to hide the cake in his pocket, he turned to his eldest brother, who had followed him outside. “I hate you! I hate all of you!” He tried to adjust to his new home, his new school, and his new teachers. He really did. But eventually, it all became too much. Desperate, Taimi stormed into his eldest brother's office. “You don't have a girlfriend anymore. Then let me be your girlfriend.” His brother remained unmoved. Taimi broke down in tears. At last, his brother relented with a sigh. His voice was resigned, but his gaze was anything but gentle. “Taimi, being my lover isn't the same as being my little brother.” “It's not?” “No. I'll kiss you. I'll sleep with you. Are you sure that's what you want?”
