Fake lover crossing the line

by Naje (나제)

“The marriage you just mentioned… am I the one who’s supposed to be getting married?” Because of a friendship between their grandfathers, Haeyoon receives a marriage proposal from Inhyuk, the Executive Director of DY Group. To him, marriage is simply something he needs, and he rushes through his proposal as mechanically as if he were completing another business task. “But I don’t love you, Mr. Do Inhyuk.” There was no room for romantic feelings in a marriage born out of necessity. However, if love was what she wanted, Inhyuk was more than willing to give it to her. “Then let’s start by dating. I’ll be a reasonably good boyfriend. I won’t let you regret choosing me, Ms. Yoon Haeyoon.” “I think you’ve got the wrong idea—I wasn’t the one who chose you…!” “It’s perfectly fine if you end up truly falling in love with me. Starting today, I’ll try loving you as well.” It wasn’t a sweet promise between lovers. It was practically a declaration of war.
