I Grow Crops with a System

by Silent67

[Congratulations! You have successfully crafted a Simple Small Tent.] [Well-crafted: Durability increased.] “...I built this out of grass and sticks. Why does it have stats?” Ethan already did the whole other-world survival thing once. He fought his way through the Ascendant Tower, made it home to Earth, and swore off adventure for good. For five years he grew rice, went to bed at sunset, and bothered nobody. Then one morning he woke up barefoot in a forest he didn't recognize, on a world that clearly wasn't his. At least this place came with a perk. Anything Ethan grows, cooks, or crafts here picks up bonus attributes — and since he still has the Growth Acceleration ability from his Ascendant Tower days, a bare patch of dirt turns into a full harvest within days. Word about the strange human by the river spreads through the Great Forest faster than he'd like. Soon a minotaur is showing up with broken axes to repair. A talking cat has claimed his shoulder and refuses to move. The elves are so delighted by a human who farms that they're pushing a holy sword on him, and a very annoyed lich keeps demanding to know how a “weak human” ended up with so many stacked bonuses. Ethan just wants everyone to get to the point. “I hate fighting. Whatever this is, make it quick — the wheat's ready and I'm harvesting today.”
