I Tried to Scam Him, but It Turned into a Job Offer

by 희이나

Elsie Bloomhyer, the self-proclaimed “great witch” of Windelton’s Seventh Street, has lived her whole life in poverty. Determined to make money, she decides to become the greatest villain in the world! Everything was going according to plan… or so she thought. “Wait—are you telling me I tried to scam the female lead’s brother? As in, the final villain of the novel? And I reincarnated as a nobody extra with barely any screen time…?” This makes no sense. I’m Extra Number 3—the one who gets defeated by the female lead! And I’m about to be defeated right now?! “This is insane. Completely insane!” I ran for my life to avoid death, but then—what is this situation? Why am I in the Grand Duke’s estate? “I heard that you saved my sister’s life.” Impossible. The girl I saved last night was the original female lead? Me—the extra who’s supposed to be defeated by her—saved her?! “Elsie Bloomhyer, I would like you to take charge of my sister Lynette’s magical education.” What did you just say, Your Grace, Duke Ledeir? You want me to become the female lead’s private tutor? “Um… is a lifetime contract an option?” Of course it is! I was never cut out to be a villain in the first place!
