I’d Rather Be a Gunslinger Than Get Married

by Aiaiian

※ This novel is a work of fiction inspired by the American Old West. The characters, events, settings, and other elements depicted in the story have no connection to actual historical facts. I possessed the body of a troubled young lady who had run away to the New World during the era of westward expansion. And of all places, I ended up in the lawless Wild West, where the person with a gun called the shots! My new life was rough from the very beginning. The moment I opened my eyes, people started treating me like a lunatic. Then my so-called boyfriend locked me up, and just when I finally managed to escape, a bandit threatened to take my life. Sigh. I really didn’t want things to turn out this way, but… what choice did I have? In a lawless place like this, I had to do whatever it took to survive, right? “I’m going to become a bounty hunter and strike it rich!” In my previous life, I was an arcade veteran celebrated for my dazzling shooting skills and one-shot, one-kill accuracy. I’d even won survival shooting competitions with my shooting club friends. Believe it or not, I know more about firearms than people in this era could even imagine. My knowledge is two centuries ahead of theirs! With such ambitious plans, I was just about to unleash my long-hidden talents to my heart’s content when… “Yes. You are definitely pregnant.” “…What did you say?” “You’re pregnant, Miss Walton. In any case, you should have a good talk with the baby’s father.” But how am I supposed to talk to him when I don’t even know who he is?! Candidate No. 1: My American businessman boyfriend who locked me up. Candidate No. 2: My former boyfriend(?)—an English earl who chased me all the way to the New World. …I don’t want to get married. I want to become a gunslinger in the Wild West! So why are both of them so obsessed with me?
