The Esper’s Matching Rate Is Going Out of Control

by Karodi

An idol from the PMC Draft Show. A legendary man who set a record-breaking market value. And Tae Seorin, the Esper who had never once lost the No. 1 spot in the Esper rankings. Why would someone like him suddenly choose a government public service position? “He’s our new director in the Special Activities Division” Instead of fame and fortune, he ends up as a department manager in the Ministry of Special Disaster Safety—a low-paying government job with hardly any glory attached to it. Shin Jaeyoung, whose matching rate at the ministry is a hopeless 0%, spends his days delivering coffee around the office. The situation becomes awkward because the man he has admired for years—his ultimate favorite—is none other than Tae Seorin, who is now his direct supervisor. Having your favorite celebrity become your immediate boss? That’s a problem. “…You’re the one who failed to recognize me first, aren’t you?” As Tae Seorin frowns with that impossibly handsome face, their relationship becomes even more complicated when it intertwines with the memories of Jaeyoung’s forgotten past. “He’s the person I love.” Shin Jaeyoung tightly gripped the military dog tag hanging around his neck. Even if he had lost all of his memories, one thing was certain. The man who had rescued him from that hell… …was him. How could he not love him? Their meeting could only have been fate.
