I Asked the Protagonist to Arrest My Brother

by On-Aon

It had been a year since I lost all contact with my older brother. While praying to God to tell me what had happened to him, I suddenly realized the truth— this world was inside a novel. And at the same time, I learned something even more shocking. My brother is part of a villain organization? And in the future, he’s betrayed by them and killed?! No matter how much of a villain my brother might be, I couldn’t accept him dying. If that was going to happen, it would be better for him to be arrested and thrown in prison! …The problem was, I had no power to arrest my brother myself. In that case— I’ll ask the protagonist to take down the villain organization! The enemy of my enemy is my ally. I decided to find the protagonist and beg them to arrest my brother before he was killed. After many twists and turns, I finally managed to meet the protagonist and thought I’d succeeded— Wait. You’re being absed by the mentor you trusted, your relationship with your mother is in ruins, and your father is about to die?! The protagonist of a coming-of-age novel had far too many crises to deal with. At this rate, there’s no way my brother will be arrested before he dies. There was no choice. If the protagonist was going to focus on hunting the villain organization, then I’d have to deal with all those crises myself! — So I took care of the knight commander who was tormenting the protagonist and saved his family. Now all that was left was to smoothly pursue the villain organization— “Winiel is my future daughter-in-law.” Suddenly, the protagonist’s mother declared me her daughter-in-law. “Of course the young duchess of Argent is the best choice. You won’t be treated like this anywhere else.” The protagonist’s father started pushing me to marry the protagonist as well. I only asked you to arrest my brother?! Still, thankfully, the protagonist continued focusing on capturing him. “I’ll arrest your brother no matter what. I’ll wipe out Luminier too. So—” “……” “You don’t need to ask anyone else.” …Ah. Maybe?
