After finally defeating the Evil Overlord, a hero hopes to retire peacefully, but is drawn into a war to save an alien princess. Returning to his apartment, he boots up an old computer and sees a prompt: "Do you want to know the meaning of life? Do you want to live a real life? Y/N" He chooses to die. This is a story about a landlord who must solve his tenants' problems - like saving the world - to increase occupancy and profits.
