Smut · Ongoing
Tang Mingxi transmigrated into a novel as the wife of the future powerful male lead, Ye Hang. In the original plot, this wife cruelly tormented Ye Hang, leading to her own gruesome end: broken limbs, thrown into the sea, and devoured by sharks. Determined to avoid this fate, Tang Mingxi decided to embrace Ye Hang, treating him kindly and aiming to become his "white moonlight." Yet, despite his efforts, Ye Hang's actions remained unpredictable and often cruel, especially concerning Tang Nuo, a rival. The climax arrives at Qingluo Bay when both Tang Mingxi and Tang Nuo are kidnapped. Faced with a choice between his "wife" and "lover," Ye Hang coldly chooses Tang Nuo, leaving Tang Mingxi to jump from a cliff into the swirling sea. Ye Hang's subsequent despair, repeatedly calling his wife's name, suggests a tragic end. However, Tang Mingxi, having faked his death, triumphantly swims 20 kilometers to shore, exclaiming, "Finally, I'm free! Whoever wants the title of Mrs. Ye can have it; I certainly don't!" This is a story of a transmigrator's desperate attempt to escape a villainous role, only to find freedom through a dramatic, staged demise.
