I’m Searching for the Villainous Dad’s Memories!

by 유유니

The Worst Troublemaker in History, a Mad Dog. Or, perhaps, a cursed soul. The notorious rascal of the North, Kalec Wintervald, is back! But with no recollection of the past five years when he mysteriously disappeared. “I’ve told you several times that I don’t remember anything about the time I was missing. Now get lost.” So no one, not even himself, dared to imagine… “Oh my, my daughter is so pretty, so admirable. Daddy is just a fool who only knows his daughter” That during the five years he was missing, he had been raising a child—not even his own—as if he were a simple villager in a remote mountain valley! And in a ridiculously doting, if not overly sentimental, manner! “Daddy! I’m back!” “Who are you?” The Duke, Kalec Wintervald, looked down at me threateningly as I tightly hugged his leg. The sight made my heart ache. ‘Daddy really has forgotten about me…’ But there was no time to feel sad about it for long. I, Lirin Wintervald, at the age of 8! It’s time to carry out my plan to prevent the sad future I saw in my dream for Daddy! “I’ll use my ability to talk to plants to solve the duchy’s sacred beast problem, and save the former Duke from a terrible accident!” “Grandma, thank you for bringing me to the mansion.” “Grandpa, will you keep playing with me from now on?” Saving the duchy is a busy task! But the most important thing is to restore Daddy’s memories. However, this journey is far from easy. “It’s no use. There’s nothing anywhere that can bring back Daddy’s memories…” Tears welled up in fear that Daddy might never believe me. At that moment, the always cold Daddy gently cupped my cheeks and lifted them as he spoke. “Why wouldn’t there be? Then why did you come to me?” Can Lirin truly restore her villainous father’s memories and reach a happy ending?
