Myriad Rivers to the Sea

Chapter indexing is still running for this novel.

In a world where the strength of one's awakened spirit determines your starting point, the orphaned Li Yu awakens a low grade spirit: a blood-red Koi fish, deemed a Grade One, Inferior spirit fit only for a decorative pond. Mocked for his misfortune and with no future in his village. His “useless” Koi possesses a divine, heaven-defying ability: it can devour the spiritual energy and life essence of any aquatic lifeform. To cultivate this power, Li Yu forsakes the path of a glorious disciple and willingly enters the prestigious Green Mountain Sect as a menial laborer, securing the most despised job—a fish farmer in the sect's Aquatic Beast Pens. Surrounded by an endless ocean of cultivation resources that only he can access, he begins his journey on a path of silent cultivation. Armed with two heaven-sent techniques, the «Abyssal Leviathan Physique» and the «Myriad Rivers Returning to the Sea Art», Li Yu navigates the treacherous sect politics and hidden dangers from the lowest rung of the ladder. His cultivation art conceals his growing power, cloaking his presence with the aura of a simple fish, allowing him to grow stronger under the noses of elders and geniuses. While others see a quiet, hardworking orphan, he is an unseen predator in a tranquil pond, patiently absorbing the power to one day become a leviathan that can swallow the seas. How I use AI in this novel: This was requested by a commenter and I thought it was a good idea. How I use AI in this story is I create the story on my own, the entire thing for what is going to happen and who says what. Then for each chapter I will enter in what happens in this chapter, who says what and so on in the AI prompt. Usually that is about 1/3 of the chapter length or more already. After the chapter is created, I review what is produced and make all the edits to it.
