The Circumstances Surrounding My Engagement to My Ex-Boyfriend

by 행복해서멍멍

Plot I dated a man whose only charm was his face, and we broke up in an annoyingly dramatic way. ‘I’m going to live alone for the rest of my life, so you can go date the ocean or whatever, do as you please.’ Then, one day while I was alone in a remote village, trying to cool my hot head. My twin sister, who I hadn’t seen in a while, suddenly showed up and left her newborn baby with me. “I, I’m definitely going to die. So please, protect my child.” After leaving behind those cryptic words, the next day, my sister and her husband were murdered. To protect the now-orphaned baby, I came up to the capital and decided to pretend to be the baby’s mother for the time being. The problem was, there was no one to pass off as the baby’s father. Just then. My ex-boyfriend, who had been kicking up a fuss demanding to know whose child it was, said the most ridiculous thing after learning the truth. “Of course, I have to be the father.” “You’ve really lost your mind.” “Is there anyone more suited for that role than me?” ……Fine, it’s an unavoidable act to protect this child left all alone. Since this situation must be just as uncomfortable for him, I planned to catch the murderer quickly and get this over with. But then. “I only wish to be able to stay by Merry and the child’s side, even now. I dare not hope for forgiveness……” Why is that bastard so passionate about acting like ‘a trashy guy who regrets leaving the woman carrying his child alone’ ? “Honey, you’re not asking me to become a bad person who sees his own offspring and lives like a stranger, are you? Of course we should live together.” This bastard ……he doesn’t have some hidden ulterior motive I don’t know about, right?
