Sold To The Alpha Called God

by Murasaki_Sumi

Seyra was never enough. Not for her parents, who saw her as a burden the moment she was born with silver hair and a freckled face they called ugly. Not for the pack, who mocked her weak wolf every chance they got. Not even for the boyfriend who used her heart as someone else’s plaything. When her family’s debt to the Alpha comes due, there’s no version of this where Seyra walks away untouched. They hand her exactly two options: sell her body at the motel on the edge of pack land, or sell her service to the one man no one in Harlow Hades has ever dared to look at. Left with no other choice and no possible means of escape, she chooses the latter, bearing it in mind that she would make them pay for this. • Alpha Orin is a legend built from fear — a cursed man who hides behind a mask because his own beast turns feral in front of anyone but her. The pack calls him a monster. Seyra is the only one who ever sees him as something else. What starts as servitude becomes something neither of them can explain. A bond neither of them asked for. A power in her blood that was supposed to be extinct. And a past between their families that stretches back further than either of them knows. And Seyra? She wasn’t going to sit and let everyone treat her like she was trash anymore. They sold her like she was worthless, a debt to be paid, and a problem to be rid of. They’re about to find out exactly what they threw away. EXCERPT “You hurt me and then you turn around to call me a monster because I reacted?” Seyra laughed, running her hands through her hair as her tears fell. “Careful, I might actually become that monster you desperately fear.” Astrid seethed and was about to slap her, but Seyra grabbed her hand and pushed her to the ground. Astrid gasped as she hit the ground, her eyes wide with disbelief. For a moment, nobody moved. “You—” Astrid scrambled up, clutching her wrist. “How dare you touch me!” “How dare I?” Seyra’s laugh cracked into something sharper, something close to a sob. “You spent years touching me. Slapping me. Tearing me apart in front of everyone who ever mattered. And now you want to talk to me about daring?” Cassiel stepped forward from the doorway, his face hard. “Seyra, that’s enough.” “Enough?” She turned on him, and the tears on her face had stopped falling, like something in her had run dry. “You don’t get to tell me when I’m done. Not after everything you took from me.” Salome appeared behind him, her mouth already curling into its familiar sneer. “Look at this display. This is what we sold to the Alpha? A savage?” “Call me whatever you want.” Seyra’s voice shook, but she didn’t look away from any of them. “You’ve called me worse to my face. Weak. Ugly. A goat. A liability.” She pressed a hand to her chest, like she could hold the pain in by force. “I let you. I let all of you, because I thought if I just endured it long enough, you’d finally see me.” “Seyra—” Astrid started, but Seyra cut her off with a look that made her stop. “You don’t get to speak either.” Seyra’s breath came ragged. She turned and looked around, pointing her finger at their faces one by one. “All of you will pay for every pain you made me go through.” She took a step back and spread her arms. “You want a monster? Congratulations, you’ve created one.” TRIGGER WARNING: THIS STORY CONTAINS THEMES OF EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE, FAMILY ABUSE, BULLYING, HUMILIATION, MANIPULATION, BETRAYAL, SEXUAL EXPLOITATION, COERCION, AND DISCUSSIONS OF SELLING A WOMAN’S BODY/SERVICES.
