Accidental Marriage

by 클레어

After a life of indulgence, Cha Sejin receives his parents’ final ultimatum. Taking the arranged marriage lightly, he only hopes that his partner will at least be good-looking. However, having already experienced more than enough in life, he finds no one around him who meets his tastes. Regretting his decision to agree to the marriage, he decides to personally check the face of his prospective partner. But the address he arrives at turns out to be a convenience store he never expected. Inside, amid his confusion, Cha Sejin encounters Eunwon, a part-time worker so beautiful that it leaves him speechless, someone who perfectly matches his ideal type. Soon after, through his secretary, he learns that Eunwon is the illegitimate child of Baum Group, the very person being discussed as his marriage partner. “College student?” “……” “Which school do you go to?” “……” “Do you have a boyfriend?” “…Sir. Please don’t ask such personal questions. And if you’re not going to buy anything…” Feeling even more intrigued by Eunwon, who firmly shuts down his personal questions, Cha Sejin begins an all-out pursuit by sweeping up nearly everything in the store. Seeing that Eunwon has no idea who he is and seems to regard him as nothing more than a “creepy convenience store customer,” Sejin becomes determined to marry him. Not long after, at their first formal meeting, he sees Eunwon again, now drained of vitality and pushed into the situation by his family. “…Hello… My name is Seo Eunwon…” “When you greet someone, you should look at their face, sweetheart.” Watching Eunwon’s startled expression upon seeing him, his overwhelmed, tearful face, even the way he looks upset, Cha Sejin confirms that every expression suits him beautifully and pushes forward with the marriage without hesitation. But the more they meet, the stranger his feelings become. He thought it would be enough if the face was pretty, so why does everything else start catching his attention? It’s not like they’ve done anything significant, they’ve only held hands… So why is his heart racing like this? What on earth is wrong with him?
