Please Don’t Hate The Fake Villainess

by 무가연

I possessed the body of the twin sister of the villainess who dies at the hands of the male lead, Yushen. As in the original story, I was naturally captured by Yushen. No matter how many times I insisted that I wasn’t the villainess he was looking for, he wouldn’t listen.Just before I was dragged away by him— “Hello?” My twin sister, Leana, the real villainess, appeared and saved me from Yushen. Then, she made me an offer. “Can you live as my sister, Letitia, for just one year?” “Why would I do that?” “If you don’t accept my request, you’ll never be able to return to your original world.” That’s not an offer—that’s blackmail! In the end, to go back to where I came from, I accepted her deal. To survive as Letitia for a year, I decided on one thing: “I… want to join the Holy Knights of Luche!” I would use Yushen’s favorite extra as my shield and hide under his shadow. Since Yushen reluctantly accepted me, I thought he would make my life miserable. But instead— “Are you alright?” “You should get treated. Your hand.” He saved me from danger… and even treated my wounds.Wait, what’s going on? Why is he suddenly being kind to me? You’re supposed to hate me! “I won’t ignore you anymore.” “Don’t go.” The longer our eyes met, the louder my instincts screamed warnings inside my head. My heartbeat thudded against my ears— A clear signal to run away right now. Then his hand, pale beneath the white veil, softly brushed my cheek, sending shivers through me. “I love you.” My breath caught. “Even if you turn out to be a witch, I don’t care.” “…” “Because your very existence is the source of my love.” Illustrations:
