Honey, Why Did You Kill Me?

by 옹힝

On the day she gave birth to a child with the husband she loved, Vanessa heard shocking words. “Actually… this isn’t my first life.” Her husband revealed that he had returned once from the future. “And I know what terrible things you will do to my daughter.” According to him, Vanessa would abse their child in the future. “Royden… will I really hurt our child?” “Only if nothing changes.” It had only been a few days since she gave birth. “I’ll do as you wish.” Not long after giving birth, Vanessa accepted death—for the sole reason that she might one day abse the child she hadn’t even properly held yet. She thought that was the end of her life… But by a miracle, Vanessa wakes up in the body of Melia, her daughter’s nanny. She is overjoyed just to be able to stay near her daughter. But then she hears a strange rumor. The body she believed had died from poison… is still alive. “Whenever I see you, I keep thinking of someone I shouldn’t.” As if that alone wasn’t overwhelming enough—“…I think I’ve fallen in love with you.” Her husband, who has returned from war, confesses painfully, not realizing who she really is. “So… what should I call you now? Vanessa? Or Melia?” But somehow, Eshion, her daughter’s knight guardian, discovers her true identity. Can Vanessa overcome the unbearable truth and remain by her daughter’s side this time?
