Born into the prestigious Ferrers family, Owen was raised to become a swordsman. For twelve years, he trained for the day a sword would choose him and awaken his power. But when that day finally arrives, Owen's Armament Core awakens without producing a weapon. The examiner cannot identify his armament. His path to the academy is suddenly uncertain, and even his family's extensive knowledge of swords cannot explain what went wrong. Then, alone in his bedroom, Owen receives a mysterious notification. [INFINITE ARSENAL SYSTEM INITIALIZED] His seemingly empty armament possesses an extraordinary ability: by absorbing monster cores, the system can create weapons and unlock new forms with the supernatural powers of the monsters they came from. With his first fire-attributed sword in hand, Owen finally has a chance to pursue the future he has trained for. But the system offers far more than swordsmanship. Sword. Spear. Shield. Bow. Axe. Every weapon class is within his reach—as long as he can master the one before it. While other warriors devote their lives to perfecting a single bonded weapon, Owen must learn to wield an ever-expanding arsenal. His journey will take him from his family's training grounds to the academy, through dangerous monster hunts, and eventually beyond the Breaches that have threatened humanity for centuries. And as Owen explores the world and uncovers the history of his mysterious system, he will discover that the monsters crossing the Breaches are connected to a catastrophe far greater than humanity realizes.
