A new naval officer joins a warship crew that is barely functional - short on cannons, experience, and manpower. With only a handful of men and a dilapidated ship, they can't even capture a low-level pirate. Desperate for supplies, the officer approaches a high-ranking admiral, who coldly suggests trading his own head for cannons. Frustrated but realistic, the officer accepts the impossible situation, knowing that direct confrontation is futile. Thus begins a humble career at sea, facing overwhelming odds and constant hardship.
