Smut · Ongoing
Jiang Ying, a second-generation celebrity known for gaining popularity through controversies, has a peculiar hobby: collecting other artists' scandals. His childhood friend, Qi Zhu, an actor who also thrives on controversy, spends his time refuting negative rumors and controlling online comments. These two have been inseparable deskmates since elementary school, their relationship a constant cycle of bickering. Whether comparing exam answers or discussing scripts on set, their conversations inevitably devolve into arguments. Yet, their "best friends" icon on QQ never fades, a testament to their enduring, if tumultuous, bond. One day, Qi Zhu accidentally discovers Jiang Ying's secret collection of his own scandals. "You don't know," Jiang Ying teases, "your scandals are much cuter than you." Jiang Ying always assumed their lives would be an endless squabble. However, fate takes an unexpected turn when their fan-created pairing, "Chasing Wind, Pursuing Shadows" (Zhui Feng Zhu Ying), suddenly trends on hot search, even inspiring a dedicated super topic, "Wishing Ying a Dazzling Red" (Zhu Ying Yao Hong). Jiang Ying, a natural debater who has never lost an argument since childhood, even reached the "King" rank in a popular "Argument" app. He took on a quiet disciple, hoping to teach him his verbal prowess. But one day, he finds himself utterly speechless and pinned down by the usually reserved Qi Zhu, realizing with a shock that his rival has, at some point, secretly mastered all of his unique "skills."
