I Quit Being a Saint and Became a Mercenary!

by 묘댕

A knight of prophecy is said to be the one who will save an empire on the brink of destruction. And the only person who can find him is the Saint. That Saint is me. But I never managed to find the knight, and after being accused of being a fake Saint, I was thrown into prison. Right before I died, I finally met the knight of prophecy— in the prison of all places. Seriously, does that make any sense? It’s so unfair! Just when I thought my life as a Saint had completely failed, I suddenly regressed. This time, I have only one goal: Awaken the knight of prophecy as fast as possible and then retire! Being a Saint never suited me anyway. I want to quit as soon as possible and live freely. So I disguised myself as a rookie member of the mercenary group where the knight was, planning to awaken him with a kiss and then run away. But then— “Honestly… you really toy with my heart.” “Don’t ever get hurt in my place again.” “The place you belong is here, Liana.” Huh? Something’s wrong. This wasn’t part of the plan. “Don’t leave my side. Promise you’ll be with me every moment.” Sir Knight…why are you so obsessed with me?
