I Confessed to Him Without Knowing He Was the Villain

by Julia Hepburn

“Do you dislike crazy men?” “I like you!” I confessed to Rody, the woodcutter. After all, he was kind and gentle, and he had plenty of money, too! “So, I was wondering… how about we try dating?” I needed money to save my older sister, so I decided to confess to him for the time being. But surely, that was all right, wasn’t it? He liked me, and I liked him, too. “Hmm… The thing is, Miss Sella, you don’t even know my name…” ……Huh? What does that mean? “Rodiak Festrik Günther. That’s my name.” “Rodiak Fest… Um… Fest? Aaaah!” Rody is the original story’s main villain—the very man I’ve been desperately trying to avoid?! Damn it! I’ve been doing everything in my power to keep him from killing me, and now I’ve gone and confessed to the villain himself! “What’s wrong? Why are you suddenly trembling so much?” The man asked, his red eyes gleaming. The red that had once looked so sexy now resembled a terrifying, blood-red hue. “No, this isn’t right…” “Isn’t it? What exactly isn’t right?” “I… I don’t want to date you.” “If not dating, then… Ah, I see. Miss Sella, you wanted to get married right away, didn’t you?” What are you talking about?! Marriage?! “That sounds wonderful to me. I like the idea of marriage.” A languid voice slipped between the villain’s lips as he flashed a radiant, satisfied smile.
