I Was Supposed to Be the Villainous Consort

by Dark Fragrance

Before Feng Yi ascended the throne, no one wanted to marry this prince who lacked presence and was out of favor. After his ascension, the harem was filled with the daughters of high-ranking court officials. They were an eyesore to look at and vexing to deal with. He felt that even favoring them would defile his own dragon body. He decided to choose a woman with a fiery, arrogant, domineering, and jealous nature to enter the palace, to cast all this “trash” into the Cold Palace on his behalf. Song Yunzhao had transmigrated to ancient times for fourteen years, all the while laying low and just trying to get by. She was just waiting for the plot to begin, then she would transform into a villainess—arrogant, domineering, fiery, and jealous—so that she would be rejected from the selection and could then choose a husband to live a carefree and happy life with. Later, Song Yunzhao watched as His Majesty smiled at her with immense indulgence and said, “Zhaozhao, come here.” Song Yunzhao immediately felt that something was terribly wrong, a chill running up from the soles of her feet. The damned Emperor wore a gentle expression, but his eyes were as cold as ice; he clearly wanted to use her as his blade!
